iClass only supports one scoring system per account. When gymnastics switched to the new 1-star key-component system, other programs like ninja and tumbling can no longer be evaluated on the 5-star system — they're the same as gymnastics now, a yes/no on each criteria.

You're more than welcome to enter your own criteria under the new star system that fits each skill — whatever works for your program.

The converter currently reads and converts: Preschool, Junior, Advanced Junior, Level 1, Level 2, Level 3.

Ninja, Tumbling, Cheer, IGT, and Specialty don't convert — print those the old way in iClass.

💡 If a program gets skipped, the converter will tell you — so you'll always know what made it in and what didn't.

Use this format: Program | Day | Time | Ages (note)

The converter reads each section between the pipes to build the PDF. If a note like "Class Closing 5/14" comes before the program name, everything shifts out of place.

Put the note at the end in parentheses instead:

Level 1 | Thursday | 3:30pm | Ages 7+ (Class Closing 5/14)

Pick your gym, then click the gold Print Move-Up Certificate card on the home screen.

The wizard walks you through:

Type the student's name — or hit + Add another student to do a whole roster at once. Bulk runs come back as one PDF, one cert per page, ready to print.
Pick what they completed on the left, what they're moving up to on the right. The wizard auto-suggests the next level based on your gym's program ladder.
Pick the date (defaults to today).

You'll get a branded PDF with the gym's certificate background and the kid's name in the cursive headline. Save and print on cardstock.

🎯 Programs and levels come from the cert manager in the admin dashboard — if a level shows the wrong wording (e.g. all-caps iClass name instead of parent-friendly), edit it in /admin → Programs.

Company standard — every gym must have these configured the same way so parents can see their child's full skill tree (earned + working-on) in the Parent Portal / Mobile App. This has been a retention issue — families who can't see progress disengage.

Where to find it in iClass:

SETTINGS → CUSTOMER PORTAL → OTHER SETTINGS → GENERAL SETTINGS

Scroll to the General Options section and set these:

Show Skill Evaluations in Customer Portal → ON (check the box)
Show Only Evaluated Skills in Customer Portal → OFF (uncheck the box)

Save. Now parents see the full skill tree — gold stars for what's earned, empty boxes for what's coming — perfect for at-home practice.

⚠ If either setting is wrong, parents either see nothing or only earned skills. Both settings need to match above.

They need your organization code to sign in — not your gym name. All lowercase, no spaces.

Double-check against your iClass URL — the code is the word right after .com/ in app.iclasspro.com/YOURCODE.

You can now generate branded move-up certificates straight from this app — pick your gym, click the gold Print Move-Up Certificate card, type the kid's name (or a whole roster), pick what they completed and what they're moving up to, hit Generate.

What you get:

One PDF, your gym's certificate background, the kid's name in the cursive headline.
Bulk mode — add as many students as you want; the wizard returns one PDF with one cert per page, so the whole team prints in one shot.
Date defaults to today (you can change it).

Programs and levels per gym (Gymnastics ladder, Boys, Tumbling, Ninja, etc.) are managed by Jayme in the admin dashboard — if a level needs different wording on the printed cert, just ping her.

Pick one, or combine them. Each option adds one page per class.

ALL 4 EVENTS — classic single page, everything together.
VAULT + BARS — focused sheet, bigger text.
BEAM + FLOOR — focused sheet, bigger text.

Click more than one to get a multi-page set. (e.g. ALL 4 + VAULT+BARS = 2 pages per class: overview + focus.)

When your PDF finishes, you'll see a new Convert Another button on the download screen. Drop the next file without leaving your gym's modal — no need to re-pick your gym every time.

Helpful if you're uploading event-by-event instead of all at once.

Events now flip A-B-A-B between colors so it's easier to see where one event's criteria ends and the next begins.

Also helps coaches who are color blind read the chart faster.

Heads-up for everyone: we found the iClass Parent Portal settings weren't consistent across gyms — some families were seeing only earned skills, some weren't seeing skills at all. That meant parents couldn't check what their kid was working toward for at-home practice (a real retention hit).

New standard across all gyms:

Show Skill Evaluations in Customer Portal → ON
Show Only Evaluated Skills in Customer Portal → OFF
